The first half of the climb is very easy, leading mainly among houses. The fun begins further on. The very beginning of the second half of the ascent is strong and gives you a real workout. However, it is not very long. The gradient decreases and this gentler section is easy and long enough to just relax. This is not what I expected from Poland's most difficult climb. The end is actually strong and a bit long. Without good form it can be tough. The condition of the road surface leaves a lot to be desired. Lots of holes and broken sections. Upwards it is not so much of a problem. Downwards you have to be a little careful. There are some nice views at the top. There are certainly more difficult climbs in Poland, but it is still worth going here at least once.

Końcówka faktycznie mocna i nieco długa. Bez dobrej formy może być ciężko. Stan nawierzchni pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Sporo dziur i rozwalonych fragmentów.

In my opinion the hardest climb in Polish part of Karkonosze mountains. The segment, after the intersection to Borowice is just brutal and can burn your legs quickly. There is not time to recover, because it is steep until the summit. The surface is eally poor and the descent on PL side is dangerous, it is better to go to CZK. No car traffic, just some tourist, which are amazed by the look of the guy on the road bike.

A very stiff climb in places, as anyone who has been there will confirm. Unfortunately, the surface is poor (potholes in the asphalt), which does not hinder the ascent, but I strongly recommend the descent to the Czech side, along a much gentler serpentine road, to Spindlerův Mlýn itself.
