Definitely recommended, but not by road bike. Going up might be doable, but you will have to go down as well... :-) Even with the MTB, the wrists hurt at one point in the descent because of all the bouncing. But really a beautiful area to cycle through. Climb is well known among 4x4 fanatics. You may encounter a few of them. Furthermore, mainly hikers and maybe some cows. Bring a light if you want to go through the tunnel. Well worth the effort to also take the view on the other side.

A really nice climb, the last 12 km are unpaved (not recommended with a racing bike). The higher you get, the more beautiful the views become. You can use the tunnel to the other side of the mountain, tunnel is long, wet and totally dark.

A pass that really hurts but it's the challenge and with 12km it's a good training! I recommend it!
