You are in Germany but briefly feel as if you are in Belgium as you drive over cobblestones for the first 200 metres. At the T-junction, turn left. Until the point where the meadow starts on the left side of the road, the ascent is not too bad. Then it climbs steadily to the top. To the left, there are nice views towards Aachen, including the Klinikum. The cobbled section is also the first part of the ascent Rohrberg North.

Less difficult than the other climb from Seffent, but this one is also worthwhile, although not very long. The first part is bouncing cobblestones and then it goes up hard on tarmac. After turning left it becomes almost flat and exactly at that point the tarmac is worthless. Further on the tarmac gets a lot better and the road climbs steeply again. Shortly thereafter you have the endpoint in sight. The way up (especially when you turn left) has beautiful views on Aachen and the valley in front of it.

If you cycle along here you see an ascending cobblestone road between the houses disappear and you become naturally curious. In the end it is not that bad and it is "only" 200 meters of cobblestones at reasonable percentages. Those first 200 meters you just have to hit it full force to get through. After the turn you can take the pressure off your legs for a while and then you have to push hard again for the last 250 meters.
