As already mentioned, the beginning is relatively calm, but from the moment you pass a hydro-technical facility (a bit after the barrier in Gabon), it gets steeper and keeps going until the top. Then in the forest the fun starts and in addition there is a traffic ban so no cars. From this point it's practically all the way to the summit 8-12%, at times 10% for quite long stretches. Worth checking out. The last 300m lacks asphalt but is quite compacted earth, easily passable by road.
