Nice climb from Eys. Ascent is somewhat hidden and you cycle directly into rural areas. At the end the tarmac ends but fortunately the unpaved section is doable on a road bike in dry weather. After rain, however, it's probably better to avoid it.... read more

Mooie klim vanuit Eys.

A short climb but one you feel. Until the railway it is okay but then the road goes up very fast. The next part is less steep but the end point is only visible a bit further on. You pass a manure storage (chance of manure on the road) and the (by then less steep) road first becomes partly broken asphalt and then sand/gravel. Eventually the asphalt (but not really cyclable by then) disappears completely and the road becomes quite coarse gravel, but then you already see the signpost at the T-junction indicating the end of the climb. The first three quarters (including the steepest parts) of the climb is good tarmac.
