Heerlijk klimmetje.

At the end of the Mur des Ardennes, with already a difficult period for the cyclist, I saw this wall looming up... Very irregular with regular >20%.
At the end, it flattens out completely but the beginning has already taken away all the energy to accelerate.

Horror, but also incredibly beautiful. A great climb if you want to surprise your cycling friends. I speak from experience - I had made the route. If you turn sharp left from the main road, you are actually at a standstill because the road immediately rises hallucinatingly steep. Anticipate on this by changing gears to the inside of the blade and going back a few gears, and before you even hear your friends cursing and yelling you will have a hundred meter head start. They will not be able to catch it back, because the climb is short and they are out of breath. When you get around the bend, the road flattens out, try to get some speed here (because you still have some breath left of course) and take it up the second steep part. That's 300 meters of raking and another 300 meters to make sure you don't stall. Compare that second part with the Keutenberg, there you also pedal after the steep part. Right?

Toch?

An absolute must for the masochist. After the turn you can still get through at speed, another steep part on bad tarmac so you can't really get out of the saddle, so sit down and chat to the (beautiful) village. Do it!

Doen!

Steep in the beginning then a recovery piece and then steep again.

Yet a surprise ... The steepest parts are easily above 15%, with +20% in the beginning!
