Climbing up this side allows you to enjoy the pleasant and very peaceful Vallée des Huiles. At the top of the pass, there is a fine view of the ridges of the Lauzière massif. There is little difficulty apart from the crossing of Presle and the final part of the pass.
Monter par ce côté permet de profiter de la vallée des Huiles, agréable et très calme. Au sommet du col une belle vue sur les arêtes du massif de la Lauzière. Peu de difficulté à part la traversée de Presle et le final du col.
