The first 6 km are without rest, and you find yourself recovering in the bends! Once past La Table, you enjoy the scenery while recovering as far as Le Pontet. The second part of the ascent to the pass is less demanding on the cardio system, but my thighs were out of action.
As for the view, unfortunately I did this climb on a day with bad weather (clouds), so I didn't see much. Do it again!
The surface is decent on the whole and has been refurbished at times.
For the record, I finished by doing a loop back to La Table via Champ-Laurent, then down to La Rochette.

Les 6 premiers km sont sans repos, on se surprend à récupérer dans les virages !! Passé La Table, on profite du paysage tout en récupérant jusqu'au Pontet. La deuxième partie de l'ascension jusqu'au col est moins sollicitante pour le cardio, mais pour ce qui me concerne, les cuisses étaient HS.
Pour la vue, malheureusement, j'ai fait cette ascension un jour de mauvais temps (nuages), donc je n'ai pas vu grand chose. A refaire !
Le revêtement est convenable dans l'ensemble et refait à neuf par moment.
Pour info, j'ai fini en faisant une boucle en rejoignant La Table par Champ-Laurent, puis descente jusqu'à la Rochette.
