Let wel op dat op de stukken waar de route 'ingegraven' licht tussen twee rotswanden de weg behoorlijk glad kan zijn als het eerder in de week licht geregend heeft, zeker in de herfst met bladeren erbij. Vanwege geen zon en gemotoriseerd verkeer blijft alles namelijk liggen.
Nu moet ik er wel bijzeggen dat ik naast fietsliefhebber ook een liefhebber van spoorwegen en treinen. Dus over een voormalige spoorlijn fietsen als deze Ligne 44 trekt mij vermoedelijk wat meer dan de gemiddelde fietser.
