I had expected the cobbled section to be tougher, judging by the reviews here. I had done the cobbles up to the junction before that day, so I already knew where the centre of gravity was. Once you turn onto the cobbles it's just a matter of giving it a good jolt and you're up. I had also expected it to be more uneven, and the stones looked reasonable.
Ik had de kasseienstrook zwaarder verwacht n.a.v. de beoordelingen hier. Tot aan de splitsing naar de kasseien had ik eerder gedaan die dag,dus wist ik al waar het zwaartepunt lag. Eenmaal de kasseien opdraaiend is het ff een flinke snok eraan te geven en je bent boven. Had het ook ongelijker verwacht,vond de stenen er redelijk bij leggen.
Heavy climb, on the cobblestones you quickly lose speed. A bit of flat in between is nice to catch your breath. If you push 2 times it's easy to keep up.
Zware klim, op de kasseien verlies je gauw snelheid. Stuk vlak ertussen is wel prettig om op adem te komen. Als je 2 keer flink aanzet dan is het goed vol te houden.
A steep climb, after catching your breath the treacherous cobblestones follow. On top of the rubbish dump you have a view of the waste processing plant and the rest of the area.
Venijnige steile klim, na even op adem te zijn gekomen volgen nog de verraderlijke kasseien. Bovenop de afvalberg heb je uitzicht over het afvalverwerkingsbedrijf en de rest van de omgeving.
