I did this climb in August 2022 at the peak of the heat. Very difficult, even if the start from Treignac is not very difficult. Everything becomes very complicated after crossing Veix, two kilometres further on when you tackle the ramp of the puy de la Monédière up to the col du Bos. The last part, from the Col du Bos to the orientation table of the Suc au May, the gradients are gentler.
The whole route is marked by beautiful landscapes. To be done in cooler weather.
