Spectacular views throughout the climb. Other than that, there are no spectacular percentages, except for the last kilometre, so you can also genuinely enjoy this view. I suspect it would be even more beautiful if it wasn't raining all the time, but I won't find out for now. Five stars despite quite a bit of traffic passing by.

Very manageable climb. Constant ups and downs and low gradients makes you never really feel like you are climbing a mountain. The only difficult part is the last km. Views are nice. Quite a few cars but it never feels dangerous. Umbrail Pass is just right next to it, it is completely worth it to take the detour and climb to one of the highest paved roads in Switzerland.

once in Zernez first part tough but less beautiful, second part after national park Switzerland much more enjoyable and beautiful.
The climb is doable apart from a few steep bits.
Descent toSanta Maria al Mustair is safe and you can reach high speed due to the wide road

Passo del Fuorn, also called Ofenpas is an ascent in two parts with a descending part in between. Of course you will make more altimeters on your bike than the actual height difference between Zernez and the pass.
The first part is a steep climb from Zernez out of the Inn river valley with lots of bends and half open passages.
The Spöl river gorge on the right of the road becomes deeper and deeper and flows into a mountain lake. At the summit in Ova Spin you effectively cycle into the uninhabited Swiss National Park to immediately descend 5.5 km to La Drossa.
Second part of the climb is, except for the steep last 2 km, relatively easy with long straight stretches of wide road through the pine forests of the park and in the vicinity of the Fuorn river (dry bed in summer). You have to watch out for tourist traffic on the many parking lots. The summit can be seen from far away because of the many telecommunication masts. You can buy food & drinks and souvenirs.

Beautiful long double climb in beautiful natural setting.

Info: In La Drossa (half way) the scary Munt de la Schera tunnel, which connects the Swiss canton of Graubunden with my Italian cycling base Livigno, is open alternately for 15 minutes in one direction of travel. As a cyclist, you can't/won't go through, but there is a shuttle bus provided with a bike rack or trailer. (Fixed times spread over the day)

Mooie lange tweevoudige klim in prachtig natuurkader.

Absolutely worth recommending, we did 'm as a descent. Fantastic surroundings, a very unspoilt environment. If you are down in Zernez (seen from the Ofenpass), and you turn left, you come to a good bakery that also serves delicious coffee. Recommended.

Aanrader.
