When making my route for cycling weekend, I hesitated for a while which side we would climb the Katsberg but I certainly did not regret the choice. You start between the fields at a moderate gradient and you can already see the violence looming in the distance. Definitely don't underestimate the last 600 metres. These are really tough! At the top, you won't have an immediate panoramic view but that's not a requirement. The steep percentages are an experience in themselves.
