Nice climb on real French pavés (cobbles), not overly hard and the cobbles are in reasonable shape. Kassel, or Cassel in French, is a truly authentic Franco-Flemish town that you should definitely have visited in this beautiful region.
The climb starts with pavement at the foot of the mountain making the percentage of climb harder to manage but still doable even for a beginner.
