Na een flauwe bocht zie je ineens een muur voor je opdoemen waarbij de percentages omhoog knallen. In het lichtere gedeelte in het midden is er een vlak kruispunt zodat de spanning er heel even af is wat flink kan schelen want daarna komt het zwaarste gedeelte waarbij er echt gestampt moet worden. Zodra je het kleine weggetje ingaat wordt het relatief lichter maar met het zuur blijft het vermoeiend. Zodra je naar rechts gaat (rechtdoor ligt een oude Joodse begraafplaats) is het zware gedeelte voorbij en kan je uitfietsen naar het Haarener Kreuz vanwaar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt.
Afdalen is het mooist via de "beklimming via de Lindenweg" (het eerste deel heeft wel wat hobbels). Het weggetje onderlangs het kruis heeft prachtig uitzicht.
