Om vanuit Haaren bij het begin van deze klim te komen moet je al een behoorlijk stuk klimmen langs de hoofdweg dus je komt goed opgewarmd aan van die kant. In het eerste deel zie je het Haarener Kreuz (het einddoel) al boven je liggen. Op de T-splitsing rechtsaf en dan komt er een bijzonder fraai en lekker stijgend asfaltweggetje met zeer fraaie uitzichten naar rechts. Na het dalende stukje ga je scherp naar links waarna je nog steeds uitzicht naar rechts hebt (maar dan naar het noorden i.p.v. het zuiden). Bij het kruis ligt de top. Prachtig uitzicht hiervandaan.
