Zudem offenbart der offene Blick auf die Autobahnbrücke der A45, die sich in die grüne Landschaft einbettet, wie hoch man noch klettern muss. Man kann aber gut seinen Rythmus finden und wird durch die geschützte Lage des Anstiegs eben kaum dabei gestört. Ab der Ortschaft Rumscheid fällt der Druck dann ab, man schaltet wieder in höhere Gänge. Der Straßenbelag ist okay, aber keineswegs so schlimm, dass er wirklich stört.

Ich würde die Route nach Rölvede dieser hier vorziehen, da diese an einem Aussichtspunkt am "Hagener Gipfelkreuz" vorbeiführt, entsprechend für diese etwas kürzere Version "nur" 3 Sterne.
