A long climb with a bit of spice at the beginning (and a visible incline) but after that it pretty much'll stop. Largest part is over a good cycle lane, in Berg en Dal it becomes a loose cycle path with mostly cobbles. Largely green surroundings, though.

A road with such a name can of course not be missing on a website dedicated to roads going uphill. The climb starts here at the last traffic light before the top, but you could even start at the junction with the Sint Canisiussingel for more altitude meters. Then you pass 5 traffic lights and cycle mainly through the built-up area, but you see enough: the old Canisius College (boarding school where Ruud Lubbers and Hans van Mierlo used to go), youth prison De Hunnerberg, big beautiful villas and country estate Watermeerwijk. Near the top is an information board about the Roman Aqueduct of the Kerstendal. It is a very busy road with many parked cars along the bicycle lane and in Berg en Dal it changes to a free lying bicycle path with bricks.
