A dead-end climb with not much punch in it either. You ride past some old buildings including two churches which does give a nice character to this climb. The first few metres are over a threshold and past some poles, after that the cobblestone road surface is fine.
Een doodlopend klimmetje waar ook niet veel pit in zit. Je rijdt langs wat oude gebouwen waaronder twee kerken wat nog wel een leuk karakter aan deze klim geeft. De eerste meters lopen via een drempel en langs wat paaltjes, daarna is het klinkerwegdek prima.
Between all the climbing violence just around the corner and at the foot of the toughest climbs in this region you'll find this hidden warm-up. In contrast with its much tougher neighbours, this one is very quiet; you almost feel guilty that you've come to disturb the peace with your racing bike. It is certainly not heavy. Feel free to look around at the special buildings, such as the old Maria school.
You turn into the climb from the Rijksstraatweg with not too much speed because of the curve you have to make. The first 20 meters you have to cross a threshold and some bad laying bricks. After that the road surface is good. A nice climb to do if you have done the climbs here before.
Tussen al het klimgeweld net om de hoek en aan de voet van de zwaarste beklimmingen in deze regio vind je deze verborgen opwarmer. In tegenstelling tot de veel zwaardere buren is deze heel rustig; je voelt je bijna schuldig dat je de rust komt verstoren met je racefiets. Zwaar is ie zeker niet. Kijk ook gerust om je heen naar de bijzondere gebouwen, zoals de oude Mariaschool.
Je draait de klim op vanaf de Rijksstraatweg met niet al teveel snelheid door de bocht die je moet maken. De eerste 20 meter moet je ook nog een drempel en een paar slecht liggende klinkers over. Daarna is het klinkerwegdek prima. Een leuke klim om te doen als je de beklimmingen hier al vaker hebt gedaan.
