Nice climb with 316 turns.
First fast ascent from Chur after which the middle section runs nicely. At the end, you get to show your worth.
Mooie klim met 316 bochten.
Eerst snel stijgen vanuit Chur waarna het middenstuk lekker loopt. Op het einde mag je nog even laten zien wat je waard bent.
A nice climb. Good tarmac. Directly from Chur it is hard work with percentages around 10％. After a few kilometres it levels off a bit and you can better enjoy the beautiful views over the valley.
There are three tunnels in the climb. Although these are well lit, a rear light is no luxury.
There is a lot of car traffic which is not always aware of the difference in speed during the descent (unlike in France where I think they give more space if you want to pass). The last few miles are again tough. In Arosa there are many places where you can refuel.
Een mooie klim. Goed asfalt. Direct vanuit Chur is het flink aanpoten met percentages rond de 10％. Na een paar kilometer vlakt het wat af en kun je beter genieten van het mooie uitzicht over de vallei.
In de klim zitten een drietal tunnels. Hoewel deze aardig verlicht zijn is een achterlichtje geen overbodige luxe.
Er is aardig wat autoverkeer dat zich in de afdaling niet altijd bewust is van het snelheidsverschil (anders dan in Frankrijk waar ze m.i. meer ruimte geven als je wilt passeren). De laatste aantal kilometers zijn weer pittig. In Arosa zijn gelukkig veel plekken waar je even kan bijtanken.
Quite a long climb with a tough start and finish on a beautiful and varied route to the famous ski resort of Arosa.
The section between Langwies and Arosa is also known to car enthusiasts for the annual "Arosa Classiccar" event, an international climbing race for old timers.
Vrij lange klim die kan tellen met pittig begin en einde op een mooie afwisselende route naar het bekende skioord Arosa.
Het deel tussen Langwies en Arosa is ook bij autoliefhebbers gekend voor het jaarlijkse "Arosa Classiccar" evenement,een internationale klimrace voor old timers.
