One of the climbs I discovered during the Tour de Namur Cyclo in 2025. It's a Cotacol climb, number 227, but it's definitely one of the encyclopaedia's favourites: steep yet regular, quiet, in very good condition. Personally, I would have liked it to have been even longer, but it's difficult to combine steep gradients with great length in the Condroz.... read more

Very nice climb - previous comments from 3y ago can still be confirmed today (steep, nice, quiet and good road surface). I didn't know this one and didn't know it was in the route, so pleasant surprise. Although it was gruelling.

Very nice climb, much steeper than the other side. The slope is regular but quite steep. The road is in good condition and there is not much traffic in general.
Worth a try!

A essayer !

Cotacol: Chansin-Sud. Not very well known but a must if you are in the Bocq valley. The slope is very regular up to the top and does not leave you any respite. A climb not to be underestimated. You need good legs.

Cotacol : Chansin-Sud.

I found this to be quite a tough climb. Too steep to ride really nice pace and too long to do it on power.

The road between Durnal and Dorinne offers a much steeper climb in the direction of Dorinne than in the direction of Durnal. During the climb you'll cycle over a railway viaduct with a view on the rock formation in the quarry of Durnal, well known among rock climbers.
