Dit is een beetje een overbodige variant van de Kluisberg. Je neemt eerst een dun weggetje dat enkel voor de velden en een huis of twee dient. Je moet daarna opdraaien op de normale klim maar je zicht is beperkt waardoor het gevaarlijk kan zijn. Het maakt het extra lastig wel, maar toch hou ik me liever aan een van de normale beklimmingen.

Personally, I find this side one of the most difficult. Bad road surface at the beginning, but then you get back on the familiar road towards the summit. That last km is always peaking.

Persoonlijk vind ik deze kant een van de lastigste. In het begin wel slechte wegdek, maar dan kom je terug uit op de bekende weg richting de top. Dat laatste km blijft altijd pieken.
