Very bad road surface in the first part of this climb! It is a poorly maintained stretch that I think is only used by the local farmer. Turning up from the main road is dangerous as it is usually full of loose stones. Then connection to the well-known south side of the Kluisberg.
Zeer slecht wegdek in het eerste deel van deze klim! Het is een slecht onderhouden stuk dat volgens mij enkel door de lokale boer gebruikt wordt. Opdraaien van de grote weg is gevaarlijk omdat het meestal vol losse stenen ligt. Daarna aansluiting op de gekende zuidkant van de Kluisberg.
Personally, I find this side one of the most difficult. Bad road surface at the beginning, but then you get back on the familiar road towards the summit. That last km is always peaking.
Persoonlijk vind ik deze kant een van de lastigste. In het begin wel slechte wegdek, maar dan kom je terug uit op de bekende weg richting de top. Dat laatste km blijft altijd pieken.
