The climb starts on Mr Dr Froweinweg and rises slightly at first. Even before the railway crossing of the Miljoenenlijn the gradient increases and after the crossing it then rises steeply. From the point where you come under the trees for the second time after the level crossing, it flattens out nicely towards the top. Road surface between the level crossing and the summit has not improved recently.

Fans of hollow roads and high gradients will get their money's worth here. Most will know this climb as the descent after the Kruisberg and before the Eyserbosweg. Back then, I didn't like it either with low visibility and not a great road surface. Still, not very bad as a climb.

A nice and tough climb which starts in a green tunnel in a deep hollow road. We cross the railway and then the hardest part starts in yet another hollow road, but soon we see light at the end of the (green) tunnel. The road keeps on climbing until you have the famous Kruisberg tree in sight. Beautiful views at the end.
Lekker pittige klim die begint in een groene tunnel in een diepe holle weg. Even het spoor over en dan begint in alweer een holle weg het zwaarste gedeelte, maar dan zie je al snel licht aan het eind van de (groene) tunnel. De weg blijft nog even klimmen totdat je de bekende Kruisberg-boom in beeld hebt. Mooie uitzichten op het eind.
