I really like this kind of quiet climb, on a good surface with a fairly even gradient, long enough and without forcing you to follow it up with the Col de Porte.
From Saint Geoire en Valdaine, the road is beautiful, a little abrasive in some parts, but very smooth the rest of the way.
Really cool climb with beautiful scenery. The foot is the hardest, and you have to find your rhythm. The rest is easier.
The climb isn't very steady for the first kilometer and a half and around 7% ,6%.Then there's a long flat uphill to the road coming up from ST Sixte. Finally, it's about 6% to the top.
Easy ascent on the slope. The gear change can be a little abrupt at the foot (you arrive on a main road fairly quickly). Nevertheless, this is a long climb that requires you to manage your effort. Beautiful mid-mountain scenery.

We then took the descent northwards, which is also in good shape.
