A nice climb that I cycled up with my son (10). The climb does not really get very difficult anywhere. On a hot day, there is also plenty of shade from trees in many places. That's nice. :) The tarmac is good and there was little traffic. We then took the descent northwards, which is also in good shape.... read more

I really enjoy this type of climb, in a calm environment, on a good surface with a fairly even gradient, long enough and without forcing myself to follow on to the Col de Porte.

From Saint Geoire en Valdaine, the road is beautiful, a little abrasive in some parts, but very smooth the rest of the way.

A really cool climb with beautiful scenery. The foot of the climb is the hardest, and you have to find your rhythm. The rest is easier.

The climb isn't very steady for the first kilometre and a half and around 7% ,6%.Then there's a long flat uphill to the road coming up from ST Sixte. Finally it's about 6% to the top.

Easy ascent on the slope. The gear change can be a little abrupt at the foot (you arrive on a main road fairly quickly). Nevertheless, this is a long climb that requires you to manage your effort. Beautiful mid-mountain scenery.
