A fine climb, even if on March 4 2026 it was cut short after the descent, as the Col des Milles Martyrs was part of a loop.
The ascent from Saint Béron is quite steep, and even though the average gradient isn't very high, there are some thigh-high sections.
Most of the route is in forest, with many switchbacks and little traffic on a road in good condition.
A beautiful, uncrowded and bucolic climb.
Done on the 3rd of March this year during a tour from Voiron.
Not too long a climb with some > sections; 8%. Ideal at the beginning of the season!
