A short but demanding climb: 2.6 km with a gradient of 170 m and gradients of over 10% in some sections. Harder than Avinguda de l'Estadi, with irregular ramps that break the pace. The road is narrow but with good tarmac, and offers spectacular views of the port and the city. Moderate traffic, although there are usually tourists and buses at the top. A more intense option inside Montjuïc, ideal for cyclists looking for a short but tough effort.... read more

I like really this road. Yes it is one way traffic for part of the climb, but it is plenty wide for two way traffic. It is not that hard and the views in the little park at 80% of the summit are amazing. Then you could go to 100% but there it gets pretty crowded with tourists. All in all a must if you're on your bike in Barcelona. To get the best views you might have to go off your bike which is a bit of a bummer.

This slope in the middle of Barcelona and partly at the side of a park is short and steep but above all a slope with a history. Legendary races were fought there especially in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s between on the one hand the Spanish climbing goats with Perurena, Fuente, Galdos, Jimenez and Lopes-Carille and on the other hand the foreigners with Merckx and Zoetemelk. It was a kind of criterion with a time trial and a climbing stage. The road is very wide but also a busy environment. It does look good on your CV but for the rest to avoid.
