This slope in the middle of Barcelona and partly at the side of a park is short and steep but above all a slope with a history. Legendary races were fought there especially in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s between on the one hand the Spanish climbing goats with Perurena, Fuente, Galdos, Jimenez and Lopes-Carille and on the other hand the foreigners with Merckx and Zoetemelk. It was a kind of criterion with a time trial and a climbing stage. The road is very wide but also a busy environment. It does look good on your CV but for the rest to avoid.
Deze helling midden in Barcelona en gedeeltelijk aan de zijkant van een park is kort en steil maar vooral een helling met een geschiedenis. Legendarische wedstrijden werden er betwist vooral in dejaren 50 , 60 , 70 en 80 tussen enerzijds de Spaanse klimgeiten met oa Perurena, Fuente, Galdos , Jimenez en Lopes-Carille en anderzijds de buitenlanders met Merckx en Zoetemelk. Het was een soort van criterium met een tijdrit en een klimritje. De weg is zeer breed maar ook een drukke omgeving. Het staat wel op je CV maar voor de rest te mijden.
