Super road surface. Nice curves that give some air. Firm climbing percentages from the start and the length goes into legs. Especially after Compet. Kilometre signs add to the experience.

Super wegdek. Kilometerbordjes geven extra beleving.

A very beautiful and sunny ascent. In very sunny and hot weather, it is better to choose the northern ascent.

Beautiful views of the 2 lakes and the valley. Recommended to do. A few steeper sections in the middle. Parts that are in the shade. Good tarmac, partly renewed. If you do the same descent back, there are ''area di sosta'' along the way to take a break.
Kilometre signs along the way with the % that await you. The top of the climb itself is not well marked. Once you pass the thermal baths, it goes slightly downhill until you come across a car park with flags and the jumping area for the paratroopers . There lies the end point of the climb. Café at the summit. Also in Compet a café.

In July this year I cycled this climb from Levico Terme together with Patrick with the most beautiful last name you can have. Strong so 😀.
Nice quiet climb, little traffic. Climb is pretty gradual, good to do. But with an average of 7,6 km uphill you need to be in good shape to cycle up in one go. That went well with me. Nice to climb in this beautiful nature.

Sterk dus 😀.
Mooie rustige beklimming, weinig verkeer.

Vetriolo is a very pleasant climb with beautiful views over Levico and Lake Levico. I rode it in September in the afternoon because I had read that you could almost always ride between the trees. However, there seems currently a real felling in progress if you leave Levio Therme and via Compet want to go up. The climb up to Compet coincides with the Panarotta 2002, however during the climb only the Vetriolo mileposts are along the road. Between Levico and Compet are the steepest parts, but the 12 wide and almost flat hairpin bends make it easy to get your heart rate down. Once you are at Compet it is still a kilometer and a half climbing but on a noticeably less steep surface. The top is not really indicated. During the climb I didn't encounter traffic, the traffic that is there is mostly the paragliders that leave at the top.
