The climb is steady, not steep but not a walk either. There are three kilometres (not consecutive) at 9% average (including the last one) and it requires a good workout. Up to the Compet it is immersed in the forest, pleasant and varied. The last four kilometres are more monotonous. On the descent, caution is required between potholes and blind bends. Much better to descend to Levico Terme, with stupendous scenery.
"A climb that almost feels like a walk in the park, if the park were a little steeper and the shadows thicker. It climbs gently up to the village of Compet, where traffic is practically a mirage and the gradient never makes you feel like you are climbing Everest.
I would recommend a round trip: go up this side, which is practically a natural cool-off, and come down the main road, which makes you feel like an oven in summer. The sun doesn't give you a break there, so better to enjoy the shade to climb.
Speaking of the top, don't expect a breathtaking view. There is a car park for a ski resort. But fear not, you will still find some nice views along the way to capture.
Once you get to Compet, stop for a break at a café that will make you forget your fatigue. And if you still haven't had enough, continue on to Vetriolo for more beautiful views and another coffee, because yes, a coffee is always the answer, especially after such a climb!
A very nice climb that runs mostly in deep shade all the way to the village of Compet, with very little traffic and a steady gradient.
I definitely recommend doing a loop: climb up this side and descend via the main road from Levico Terme. The main road is exposed to the sun for most of the way, so this shaded route is much more pleasant for climbing.
As others have mentioned, there's not much to see at the top, just a parking area of a ski resort, but along the way you'll find some beautiful viewpoints.
In the village of Compet, there's a lovely café. From there, you can continue to Vetriolo, where you’ll also find nice views and cozy café.
Really nice climb with almost none traffic. To the town Compet in mostly in deep shade with steady gradient. Some nice views open on the way but really dull on the top. It's really nice to stop in Compet and from there you can also go to Vetriolo where are some nice views and a café.
Nice even climb. Until Compet, you ride mainly sheltered with little traffic, which is nice on a hot summer day. In Compet there is a single terrace for a stopover. The last part to Panarotta is still quite tough, with some nice views over Lake Caldonazzo and surrounding mountains. The climb ends at a dull parking area for a chairlift. And so you have to descend again to Compet. From there it's a lovely descent to Levico Terme over excellent tarmac-one of the most beautiful descents I've ridden with stunning views.
Lekker gelijkmatige beklimming.

A pleasant climb, which until Compet where the climb from Levico meets, can be ridden in the shade by the present trees. Views are rather limited. Apart from a few motorcyclists no traffic on this climb.
