De, naar mijn mening, de makkelijkste kant van de Tiegemberg. Het wordt nooit echt steil en, vooral in het tweede deel, is het asfalt heel goed. Naar mijn mening vooral interessant als je hoog vermogen wilt trappen en/of snel afstand wilt maken gezien het een vrij directe weg is. Het uitzicht is mooi en er zijn veel opties om je tocht verder te zetten. Toch vooral interessant als een optie om de Tiegem af te dalen
