A variant of the Tiegemberg that is still sometimes included in cyclo's more often than the 'real' side. This mainly because you then come from the Kortijk/Harelbeke/Waregem side and ride towards the 'Real' Flemish Ardennes. A perfect warm-up, then. Incidentally, as a descent, it might also be a good option. This variant rises gradually through the fields. The nice thing is that you can see the steeper part coming. At the end it is still steep enough to make the difference.

Dit vooral omdat je dan van de kant van Kortijk/Harelbeke/Waregem komt en richting de 'Echte' Vlaamse Ardennen rijdt. Een perfecte opwarmer dus. Overigens als afdaling ook mogelijks wel een goede optie. Deze variant loopt geleidelijk op doorheen de velden. Het leuke is dat je het steilere stuk ziet aankomen. Op het eind is het toch steil genoeg om het verschil te maken.
