I decided to tackle this climb on my first day in Mallorca to tick off the box next to the steepest climb on the island. I included it in my Palma - Mirador Sobremunt - Esporles - Es Cap des Bosquet - Coll d'en Claret - Port de Valldemossa - Valldemossa - Palma loop. Very steep, with unpleasant flashbacks to my Mortirolo ascent earlier this year in Italy, however this one felt less steep and is of course less long. Road surface gets worse and worse towards the top. This makes the descent also quite technical so not something to do with your grandma. On the top, there is a dead end with an ok view of Palma and the bay. The other side (from Esporles) has a slightly better road surface and is less steep. I did this climb with a 34*32 for 90% of the climb. Almost no traffic and only a few fellow bikers.
