A nice way to avoid the main road between Vaals and Aachen or the TH. On the border, head via the Grensstraat (yep) to the stream crossing that also forms the border. Pass between the posts and then take the cycle/footpath towards Senserbachweg (some views straight ahead here). This runs sharply uphill on the right for a while (there is a 10% sign at the top) but that stretch only lasts a short while. At the T-junction, keep right (you are allowed to cycle on the road) after which it relaxed towards the (boring) built-up area. Before that, you have some nice views to the right. By the way, most of the climb is through green surroundings but due to the bushes you don't have views everywhere.
