A lovely climb on excellent tarmac. The first three-quarters is more or less a false flat, but you’re cycling through a beautiful green tunnel with the Senserbach occasionally visible to your right below you. After the open stretch, the gradient steepens and, towards the end, you can see the hill you need to climb. From the top, there’s a lovely view over Vaals.
It seems to be used a lot for descending. That makes sense, given the excellent tarmac.

Heerlijke klim over uitstekend asfalt.

A lovely road, good tarmac, little traffic – in other words, brilliant cycling. After nearly 2.5 kilometres of a gentle incline, there’s a brief, steeper bend before you reach the junction. From here, you have a lovely view over Vaals and towards the tri-border area. It’s not a particularly challenging climb, but it’s a real gem of a road.

Prachtige weg, goed asfalt, weinig verkeer, oftewel heerlijk fietsen.
