Steady uphill climb along the golf course from Schurzelter Strasse to the plateau between Seffent and Orsbach. Is fun just because of the twists in the road and the views you get higher up. It's keep pedalling from start to finish. The steepest bit is near the shelter hut. The summit is a little past the junction with the Herzogweg.
Gestaag omhoog lopende klim langs de golfbaan vanaf de Schurzelter Strasse naar het plateau tussen Seffent en Orsbach. Is alleen al leuk vanwege de slingers in de weg en het uitzicht dat je hogerop krijgt. Het is van begin tot einde blijven trappen. Het steilste stukje zit t.h.v. de schuilhut. De top ligt een stukje voorbij de splitsing met de Herzogweg.

Although the road surface wasn't too bad in terms of quality (except for the last stretch from the junction), they recently decided to completely resurface the entire climb - and the subsequent descent to Orsbach - so that there is now a truly excellent road surface. Almost comparable to a cycle track. That's worth an extra star. Of course, the beautiful surroundings and the nice swings also count.
Ondanks dat het met het wegdek wel meeviel qua kwaliteit (op het laatste stukje vanaf de kruising na) heeft men toch recentelijk besloten de hele klim - en de daaropvolgende afdaling naar Orsbach - geheel opnieuw te asfalteren zodat er nu echt uitstekend wegdek ligt. Bijna te vergelijken met een wielerbaan. Da's wel een ster extra waard. De mooie omgeving en de lekkere slingers tellen dan natuurlijk ook nog mee.
Nice climb, very variable in terms of gradient. Very low traffic, only for residents and agricultural vehicles. Beautiful scenic surroundings. The previously mentioned bad road surface, has probably been renewed or well repaired. It was very doable.
Leuke klim, Heel wisselend qua stijgingspercentages. Zeer verkeersluw, alleen bestemd voor bewoners en landbouwvoertuigen. Mooie landschappelijke omgeving. Het eerder genoemde slechte wegdek, is waarschijnlijk vernieuwd of goed gerepareerd. Het was zeer goed te doen.
Beautifully winding road uphill with sometimes pretty steep percentages. This climb felt heavier than the statistics indicate, also because there is always a turn. In the middle you feel a bit flatter but after that you'll feel it even more. In the curves beautiful views over Aachen.
The asphalt is moderate but with climbing it goes well.
Fraai slingerende weg omhoog met soms best pittige percentages. Deze klim voelde zwaarder dan de statistieken aangeven, ook omdat er steeds weer een bocht komt. In het middel voelbaar even vlakker maar daarna ga je hem nog meer voelen. In de slingers fraaie uitzichten over Aachen.
Het asfalt is matig maar met klimmen gaat het prima.
Nice climb from Aachen, and thus also a nice crossing to Limburg. Winding and varying steepness. The asphalt is not too good, but in the climb it's easy to do.
Mooi klimmetje vanuit Aachen, en op die manier ook een mooie doorsteek naar Limburg. Slingerend en wisselende steilte. Het asfalt is niet al te best, maar in de klim prima te doen.

This little climb takes you from Aachen to Orsbach. You climb along the golf course of Aachen 1 km up, where the percentages go up and down. This means you have to change gear a lot, while you also have to watch the road. Sometimes the nl is very bad and sometimes you long for Belgian asphalt.
Dit klimmetje voert je vanuit Aken naar Orsbach. Je klimt langs de golfbaan van Aken 1 kilometer omhoog,waarbij de percentages op en af gaan. Hierdoor ben je veel aan het schakelen, terwijl je ook het wegdek goed in de gaten moet houden. Soms is het heel slecht nl en verlang je af en toe naar Belgisch asfalt.
