Beautiful and varied climb. It does contain 500 metres of gravel (from Ruitzhof to the border) but it is doable on the climb as it is mostly of good quality. In the beginning a nice hairpin turn and nice views over the valley. After the border, you enter the beautiful forest on tarmac roads that continue to the end. Fair to good tarmac, which can be dirty in the forest (no other traffic).
