The descent is short, and then the toughest part starts. It doesn't come easy on this straight road through the forest. It is work, but the scenery is completely in nature. There is no other traffic. In short, enjoy!

De afdaling is kort, en daarna begint het zwaarste stuk. Het komt je niet aanwaaien op deze rechte weg door het bos. Het is werken, maar de omgeving is volledig in de natuur. Er is geen ander verkeer. Kortom, genieten!
Lovely climb through beautiful green surroundings and along a deserted and generally fine tarmac road. In Kügelscheid the ascent is relaxed past some houses and after leaving the village you descend towards a pretty stream valley. Then the ascent is brisk but not too extreme - and remains so until the end. Just before the summit, you enter a small open area where you have beautiful views to the back.
Heerlijke klim door een fraaie groene omgeving en over een uitgestorven en over het algemeen prima asfaltweggetje. In Kügelscheid gaat het relaxed omhoog langs wat huizen en na het verlaten van het dorp daal je af richting een fraai beekdalletje. Daarna gaat het lekker stevig maar niet te extreem omhoog - en dat blijft het continue doen tot het eind. Vlak voor de top kom je even in een open gebiedje waar je prachtig uitzicht naar achteren hebt.
