You just don't expect this kind of green, very quiet gem right next to the Vaals-Aachen conurbation. But they are there, this is one of them. Climbs nicely in the green too. A good one for (too) much sun. Feel free to look around as well.
Je verwacht dit soort groene, hele rustige pareltjes gewoon niet vlak naast de agglomeratie Vaals-Aachen. Maar ze zijn er wel, dit is er eentje van. Klimt ook lekker in het groen. Een goede voor (te) veel zon. Kijk ook gerust om je heen.
Recently, most of the climb has been resurfaced, making it very smooth. Hence an extra star. Otherwise, it remains a nice little road with sometimes nice views.
Recentelijk is het grootste deel van de klim opnieuw geasfalteerd waardoor het heel gladjes loopt. Daarom een ster extra. Verder blijft het een mooi weggetje met soms leuke uitzichten.
In the built-up area it already rises but only after that it becomes really nice. A nice rural road (the first part via a nice hollow road) with sometimes nice views leads with varying percentages to the crossroads near some houses, which is the end point. To the right it continues up towards the Vaalserberg (with a gravel strip at the end), straight on descends to Aachen and left descends to Vaalserquartier.
In de bebouwde kom stijgt het al maar pas daarna wordt het echt leuk. Een fraai ruraal weggetje (het eerste deel via een mooie holle weg) met soms leuke uitzichten gaat met wisselende percentages richting het kruispunt bij enkele huizen wat het eindpunt vormt. Naar rechts gaat het verder omhoog richting de Vaalserberg (met op het eind een gravelstrook), rechtdoor daalt af naar Aachen en linksaf daalt af naar Vaalserquartier.
