Cycled again today for recent photos's. From the little tunnel to the end relatively new tarmac that runs nicely. About the climb: slightly uphill at first, after the last houses it gets spicier for a while after which it flattens out very much. Towards the end it gets steeper and steeper, really until the end. So the profile is exactly right.
Vandaag nog maar eens gefietst voor recente foto's. Vanaf het tunneltje tot het eind relatief nieuw asfalt dat lekker loopt. Over de klim: in het begin lichte stijging, na de laatste huizen wordt het even pittiger waarna het erg afvlakt. Tegen het eind loopt het steeds steiler op, echt tot het eind. Het profiel klopt dus precies.
Climb along a small rural tarmac road with nice views before and after the tunnel. Starts relaxed but picks up nicely towards the end. Arrives at a junction near some houses. To the left it continues up towards Vaalserberg (with a gravel strip at the end), the other two roads descend to Vaalserquartier.
Klim over een klein landelijk asfaltweggetje met voor en na het tunneltje leuke uitzichten. Begint relaxed maar loopt tegen het eind lekker op. Komt uit op een kruising bij enkele huizen. Naar links gaat het verder omhoog richting de Vaalserberg (met op het eind een gravelstrook), de andere twee wegen dalen af naar Vaalserquartier.
