First, we leave the built-up area as quickly as possible. A narrow tarmac road climbs up between forest and farmland. Keep to the right (still asphalt) and then right again for the bouncer: a cobblestone road partly cemented in and thus completely paved... but in some places even bumpier than a cobblestone lane. The bit to the clear summit (nice view over right) is only short. After that you can possibly turn right and descend again towards Vaalserquartier... but carefully because it takes a while because you have left the cobbled road behind you.
Eerst relaxed maar zo snel mogelijk de bebouwde kom uit wat daarna wordt het een stuk mooier. Een smal asfaltweggetje klimt tussen bos en landerijen omhoog. Rechts aanhouden (nog steeds asfalt) en daarna nog eens rechts voor de uitsmijter: een keienweg die deels met beton is aangesmeerd en dus wel compleet verhard is... maar op sommige plaatsen nog hobbeliger dan een kasseienstrook. Het stukje naar de duidelijke top (mooi uitzicht over rechts) is maar kort. Daarna kan je evt. rechtsaf weer richting Vaalserquartier afdalen... maar voorzichtig want het duur even doordat je de keienweg achter je hebt gelaten.
