The view from Sacré-Coeur is well worth the diversions, but you have to go at a time when there are no crowds. The latest news is that work is underway on the lower part of rue Lepic.
Excellent climb, although the new 2025 TdF had a slightly different start up the Rue Puget and Rue Coustou.
The climb segment ends before you run into notable tourist crowds, and if you take the alley to the left of Le Consulat, you'll avoid most of the crowds.
To do the climb 100% according to climbfinder, one must start at the very foot of Rue Lepic. Good luck with the tourists there.
The climb is well worth the diversions, but you'll come across a lot of tourists at the end.

Not to be missed when visiting Paris :) Choose your time carefully to be on the safe side.
Don't miss the windmill at the end of the climb, one of the few in Paris.
The only hill in Paris! With Ménilmontant. Fun to climb at night when there are hardly any cars. And cobbled climbs are rare. In short, for Parisians, yes, it's something to do from time to time.
