Via this side we climbed Mount Monte because this is also the Cotacol. You start on a slightly wider road, surrounded by fields and bits of forest. Here you can ride at a perfect pace, no unexpected steep sections. For the last 250 metres, at the crossroads you have to turn left into Monteberg road. This is a slightly narrower road, through the forest, and the road surface does need a bit of renewal. Also pay attention in the descent that follows. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the road surface at the end, otherwise a perfect climb!
Via deze kant de Monteberg beklommen omdat dit ook de Cotacol is. Je begint op een iets bredere weg, omgeven door velden en stukjes bos. Hier kan je perfect tempo rijden, geen onverwachte steile stukken. Voor de laatste 250 meter moet je, op het kruispunt naar links, de Montebergstraat inrijden. Dit is een iets smallere weg, door het bos, en het wegdek is wel een beetje aan vernieuwing toe. Let ook op in de afdaling die erop volgt. 4 sterren i.p.v. 5 door het wegdek op het einde, anders een perfecte klim!
