A climb that sets the scene for the Kemmel, taking us up into an atmosphere surrounded by vegetation. This is one of my favourite variants of the Kemmel.
Une montée qui prépare le terrain pour le Kemmel, nous faisant grimper dans une atmosphère entourée de végétation. C'est l'une de mes variantes préférées du Kemmel.
De beste uitzichten vind je hier, uitkijken over het grensgebied tussen Vlaanderen en Frankrijk. Helaas wel een relatief drukke weg.
Starting in Dranouter, you'll have the toughest part at the beginning of the climb. You end up on a plateau where you have a beautiful view on the vineyards of the Monteberg. At the top you can go straight to the foot of the Kemmelberg.
Vanuit Dranouter heb je het stevigste stuk in het begin van de klim. Je komt uit op een plateau waar je prachtig zicht hebt op de wijngaarden van de Monteberg. Aan de top kan je rechtdoor naar de voet van de Kemmelberg.
Beautiful climb in the hills, definitely recommended! Good road surface and beautiful views, it is the perfect climb to go to the foot of the Kemmelberg.
Prachtige beklimming in het heuvelland, zeker een aanrader! goede wegdek en een mooi uitzicht, het is de perfecte klim om richting de voet van de kemmelberg te gaan.
