Nice climb along the other side of Smeysberg. Climbs gradually but steeply. Top at T-junction where you cross a sometimes busy road and have to hold back before you can turn left.
Leuke klim langs de andere kant van de Smeysberg. Klimt geleidelijk maar steil. Bovenkomen op T-kruising waar je een soms drukke weg kruist en moet inhouden voor je naar links kan afslaan.
Starting in the village centre of Huldenberg via the classic Koxberg route which after a few hundred metres you
left immediately followed by a right turn where the straight steep Victor Philipsstraat looms before you.
Central cobblestones with bike-friendly concrete lane along both sides that you can possibly use if no residents' cars're parked on it.
At the top at the end of this quiet street, the climb rejoins the ascending cycle path of the classic road to then flatten out to the highest point of the plateau.
Best choice indeed. Completely agree with Franck and Robbe.
Startend in de dorpskern van Huldenberg via de klassieke Koxberg route die je na enkele honderden meters
links verlaat direct gevolgd door rechtse bocht alwaar de rechte steile Victor Philipsstraat voor jou opdoemt.
Centraal kasseien met langs beide zijden fietsvriendelijke betonstrook die je eventueel kan gebruiken als er geen auto's van bewoners op geparkeerd staan.
Bovengekomen aan het einde van deze rustige straat sluit de klim terug aan op het stijgende fietspad van de klassieke weg om dan af te vlakken naar het hoogste punt van het plateau.
Inderdaad beste keuze. Volkomen eens met Franck en Robbe.
As Robbe_Buis says, this is the best variant of the Koxberg... at least for those who like steep hills. For those who don't like to be shaken, the paved part is bordered on the right and on the left by a perfectly asphalted strip.
Comme le dit Robbe_Buis, c'est la meilleure variante du Koxberg… du moins pour les amateurs de pentes raides. À noter, pour ceux qui n'aiment pas être secoués, que la partie pavée est bordée à droite comme à gauche d'une bande parfaitement asphaltée.
Cobblestones on a steep uphill section. Can it get any prettier? From the center of Huldenberg you have to drive up the Koxberg, but turn left in time. This is by far the best choice for the Koxberg.
Kasseien op een steil stuk bergop. Kan het nog mooier? Vanuit het centrum van Huldenberg moet je de Koxberg oprijden, maar op tijd links afslaan. Dit is veruit de beste keuze wat de Koxberg betreft.
