Varied climb with a gentle start and two tough sections, especially in the forest. Nice to bite into and beautiful to ride.
Gevarieerde klim met een rustig begin en twee pittige stukken, vooral in het bos. Lekker om je op stuk te bijten en mooi om te rijden.
Up to the track, this climb rises gently but then it goes up steadily through the forest in terms of gradient. Only just before the top it flattens out to false flat.
Tot aan het spoor loopt deze klim rustig op maar daarna gaat het v.w.b. het stijgingspercentage door het bos gestaag omhoog. Pas vlak voor de top vlak het af naar vals plat.
I had somewhat underestimated the Kloosterberg after all. After the road in Bunde already starts to climb a bit, it gets really tough when entering the hollow and dark road. It then levels off for a while and then you get another passage where percentages hover around 10％.

Tot het spoor gaat het relaxed door een woonwijk. daarna begint het even sterk te stijgen en dan wordt de weg een bochtige mini-versie van een provinciale weg (met middenstreep) wat weer wat vlakker is. Daarna wordt het weer een straat die door een villawijk loopt met een lekkere helling tot het eind van de klim.

Kloosterberg and Dennenberg are both nice. Live a few 100 yards away. Only you have swapped the names. The Dennenberg starts immediately behind the railway and is the toughest variant. The Kloosterberg is the lighter variant which, as the name suggests, starts at the old monastery.

Kloosterberg en Dennenberg zijn allebei leuk. Woon op een paar 100 mtr afstand. Alleen hebben jullie de namen verwisseld. De Dennenberg begint meteen achter het spoor en is de zwaarste variant. De Kloosterberg is de lichtere variant die, zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, bij het oude klooster start.
Misschien kunnen jullie die aanpassen op jullie site? Voor de rest een hele leuke site. Zelfs wanneer je in het mooie Zuid-Limburg geboren en getogen bent valt er nog genoeg te ontdekken via jullie site.

It only starts when you cross the railway and not in the centre of Bunde as indicated.
After the crossing it's a nice uphill ride to catch your breath in the easy part.
Once you've caught your breath you'll have to ride the last 200 meters full speed again.
At the end of the road turn right and after a short distance you'll find a nice pub to have a drink!

Hij begint pas als je het spoor over bent en niet zoals aangegeven in het centrum van Bunde.
Na de overweg is het lekker omhoog knallen om daarna op adem te komen in het makkelijke gedeelte.
Eenmaal op adem mag je de laatste 200 meter weer vol aan de bak.
Op het einde van de weg naar rechts en na een kleine kilometer een leuke kroeg om even een terrasje te pikken!
