A small one that goes mainly over or along a through road but this one is not too busy. There are also cycleway signs
so cycling is indeed allowed. The wel runs up nicely in the beginning until Birgel, flattens there and then rises again. A descent follows where you leave the road provisionally at the end by taking an adjacent cycle path.
Further on, nice views to the back. Then through Gey (keep going straight on) and then you get back on the main road, which meanders nicely up through the forest here to walk after the forest in a straight line - and a lot flatter - to the summit. The climb runs mainly through green surroundings and has good tarmac along its entire length.
