A very low-traffic and easy-to-manage climb of the Heikantberg. The slightly uphill sections are easily digested, but the final metres on the Wandeldreef are unexpectedly hard: a spurting over a good 8 to 9 percent as a climax.
Zeer verkeersluwe en overzichtelijke beklimming van de Heikantberg. De licht-oplopende stroken verteer je met alle gemak, maar de eindmeters op de Wandeldreef komen onverwacht harder aan: een uitloper over een goeie 8 a 9 procent als climax.
Nice and certainly no heavy climb of the Heikant mountain along this route . Especially the Elzendreef is a beautiful narrow road in a very nice surrounding. It's a pity that the last few years more and more houses are being build in this beautiful piece of nature. The road is easy to follow on the plateau, except for the short steep part in the hiking lane, which is 8％ between km 1.3 and 1.4. It's actually 50 meters 10％ and 50 meters 5 to 6 ％.
This climb is one of the many possibilities to climb the Heikant mountain.
Leuke en zeker geen zware beklimming van de Heikant berg langs deze route . Vooral de Elzendreef is een prachtige smalle weg in een zeer mooie omgeving . Spijtig dat er de laatste jaren altijd maar meer en meer huizen gebouwd worden in dit prachtige stuk natuur . De weg is vanzelf op de grote plateau te nemen behalve het korte steile stuk in de wandeldreef want die 8％ tussen km 1.3 en 1.4 is eigenlijk 50 meter zeker 10％ en 50 meter 5 à 6 ％.
Deze beklimming is één van de vele mogelijkheden om de Heikant berg te beklimmen.
