A fine succession of two "heavier" - read rather "steeper" - strips of around 9 percent, spread out by some easier stretches.
However, the road surface is bad to very bad: the left hook at the end of the Esdreef goes over a real kerb, and for the rest the road is covered with gravel and other stone dust. Not ideal for racing bikes, but doable.
Fijne opeenvolging van twee "zwaardere" - lees eerder "steilere" - stroken van om en bij de 9 procent, gespreid door enkele gemakkelijkere lopende stukken.
Het wegdek is echter slecht tot zeer slecht: de haakse linkse bocht op het einde van de Esdreef gaat als het ware over een heuse stoeprand, en voor de rest is de weg er bezaaid met grind en ander steengruis. Niet ideaal voor racefietsen, maar te doen.
Nice alternative to one of the many possibilities to cycle up the 3rd Heikantberg. The road rises continuously with ups and downs because also occasionally a piece downhill followed by a short steep piece uphill. It is a labyrinth of short and narrow streets in a wooded area but if you know the way there are endless options to get to the top. So a lot of turning and twisting.
Leuk alternatief voor één van de vele mogelijkheden 3de Heikantberg op te fietsen. De weg stijgt voortdurend met horten en stoten want ook af en toe een stukje bergaf gevolgd doir een kort steil stukje bergop. Het is er wel een labyrint van korte en smalle straatjes in een bosrijke omgeving maar als je er de weg kent zijn er oneindig veel opties om naar de top te fietsen. Wel dus veel draaien en keren.
